Victoria Berishvili

Victoria (Vika) Berishvili, an artist and designer, was born on August 30, 1984, in Tbilisi. From 2001 to 2007, she studied at the Faculty of Architecture of the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, and from 2014 to 2016, she studied at the Scuola Politecnica di Design in Milan, Italy. She currently works as a designer and artist and also lectures in interior design.

Berishvili works in painting and graphic art. Her practice encompasses abstraction, landscape, and narrative compositions featuring elements of magical realism. Her artistic practice brings together her architectural education and painterly thinking.

Berishvili’s artistic career has developed since the 2000s and is connected to the contemporary Georgian art scene. Her notable solo exhibitions include Snow Country (2011, Gallery 9), a solo exhibition at Red Square Gallery (2017), and Faceless (2024, Red Square Gallery). She has participated in group exhibitions and projects since 2008, including Red (2009) and Madam (2010), both at Gallery 9. In 2025, her works were presented at a Bonhams auction in London.
