Vladimer (Lado) Asatiani Ph.D. Professor of fine art at Tbilisi State University. Author of paintings and various research works on aesthetics, including the monograph “Anato-physiology of Art”. Graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 1977. After postgraduate course at the Institute of Philosophy of Georgian Academy of Sciences defended his thesis “Mythical Roots of Fine Art” in 1991. Till 2006 chaired the Department of Fine and Applied Arts at Tbilisi State University. Participated in many international and solo exhibitions (Italy, France, USA, Netherlands, Turkey) has several international awards.
