After Graduating Tbilisi Economical Institute, in 1922 young Korneli Sanadze started classes in Mose Toidze Public Art Studio. In 1924 he entered Tbilisi State Academy of Fine Arts, where he attended lectures of E. Lancere, I. Sharleman, G .Gabashvili, E, Tatevosian. From 1934 he started teaching painting in the same Academy. Korneli Sanadze was one of the founders and leaders of the Georgian Revolutionary Artists Society – SARMA. From 1924 actively takes part in all group exhibitions of Georgia. He worked in Theater and Cinema Art, and has created many valuable stage and costume design for opera and theater performances around Georgia. Korneli Sanadze played important role as the pedagogue in the development of the future generation of artists. His students were: G. Toidze, G. Totibadze, G. Jashi and others. His works are preserved in State Museum of Literature, State Museum of Sh. Rustaveli Theater, Museum of Theater Institute, Z. Paliashvili State Opera and Ballet Theater Museum, Achara Art Museum, S. Petersburg State Museum of Fine Arts.
