In 1958, she graduated from the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, Faculty of Painting, under the guidance of K. Sanadze, A. Kutateladze, and V. Shukhaev. She later pursued a pedagogical career at the Academy, serving as the Director of its preparatory courses from 1979 to 2001. She actively participated in art exhibitions starting from 1962, including “Cuba Through the Eyes of an Artist” (1968, Tbilisi), “Fine Arts of the Georgian SSR” (1987, Moscow), and solo exhibitions in Tbilisi (1977, 1996). Her notable portraits include “Nikoloz Kandelaki”, “Irakli Abashidze”, “Giorgi Leonidze”, “Ioseb Grishashvili”, “Leo Kiacheli”, “Fridon Khalvashi”, “Parmen Loria”, “General Abramidze”, “Ernest Hemingway’s House in Cuba”, “Galaktion Tabidze”, “Tamar Tetradze”, “Crimea”, and others.
Her artworks are preserved in the Batumi Museum of Local Lore, the State Museum of Georgian Literature, and private collections across Cuba, Russia, France, Armenia, and other nations. She was named Honored Artist of Georgia in 1971 and was awarded the Order of Honor in 1999 for her outstanding personal contribution to the development of Georgian fine arts, publishing activities, book production, and her fruitful pedagogical career.
