Vakhtang Givievich Gulisashvili – Georgian painter, graphic artist, decorator, designer, and metalwork artist; a member of the Union of Artists of the USSR.
From 1960 to 1965, he studied in the Faculty of Painting at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts under Ucha Japaridze and Sergo Kobuladze.
His work belongs to the context of Georgian art of the second half of the twentieth century and encompasses easel painting, graphic art, illustration, artistic metalwork, and decorative commissions for public spaces. His projects include works for the House of Arts in Bichvinta and the Hotel Mozhaisk in Moscow.
His paintings include Tsitsamuri (1987), held in the Georgian National Gallery. His graphic work includes illustrations for The Ballad of the Tiger and the Young Man, executed in mixed media on cardboard. His works are held in the Georgian National Gallery and private collections.
