Koki Makharadze birth in Ochamchire, Georgia. He graduated from Ap. Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts in 1953. Since 1973, he has been teaching at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts.
Important works: “Suvorov and Bagration in the Alps” (1952), “Battle of Aspindze (1961)”, large allegorical canvas “Georgian Land” (1967), “White Bull” (1975) , “Didgori” (1985), “Rising” (1987), “With Fire and Sword” (1988), the series “Old Tbilisi” (1989). Designed many books. He worked in magazines and newspapers (“Communist”, “Pioneer”, etc.).
1980 – People’s Artist of Georgia.
