Nino Morbedadze graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Arts with a specialty of Graphic Artist and immediately attracted attention of general public with her large, figurative, surrealistic-style compositions marked with the skill of exceptional draftsman and depicting a strange and mysterious world.
During the Soviet Time her works were purchased by Nancy and Norton Dodges for their collection of non-Socialist Realism-style Soviet Art that nowadays represents the large part of the New-Jersey State University art collection.
Nino Morbedadze held many solo-shows in Georgia and abroad and participated in almost every group exhibitions in Tbilisi.
She is in a very high demand as a film production designer and collaborated with several Georgian film directors.
Nino Morbedadze’s artworks are kept in the Shalva Armianashvili Museum of Fine Arts, private collections in and outside of Georgia, Zimmerly Art Museum in New Jersey and R. B, Stivenson Gallery in San Diego.
She successfully debuted at the Fillips Auction in 2020, London. There her canvas Beyond the Time Limits was sold. In the ensuing year, at the next Phillips Auction in the program of The 20th Century and Contemporary Art her work titled “Fairy-Tale” was sold.
