The exhibition marks the artist\u2019s 75th birthday.<\/p><p>Bringing together works created in a range of media over the course of Javakhi\u2019s 48-year career, the exhibition reflects his enduring interest in rethinking the objects, words, signs, and meanings that we often accept as fixed and one-dimensional features of everyday life.<\/p><p>The exhibition takes as its starting point the innate human drive to understand and explore the world around us. Beginning in childhood and continuing throughout life, this process shapes a multilayered system of perception, emotion, and experience. Javakhi explores the dynamics of this process through the metaphor of games of the mind.
