The exposition demonstrates how the theme of childhood is mirrored in Georgian art across various historical, social, and cultural contexts. Concurrently, the exhibition narrative allows visitors to trace the stylistic evolution of Georgian fine arts from the late 19th century to the present day.<\/p>\n<p>The project brings together works by seminal figures in Georgian art. Among them are the founders of Georgian realist painting\u2014 Alexander Beridze, Alexander Mrevlishvili, Gigo Gabashvili, and Mose Toidze; representatives of Modernism\u2014Niko Pirosmanashvili, Lado Gudiashvili, David Kakabadze, Valerian Sidamon-Eristavi, Shalva Kikodze, and Felix Varlamishvili; as well as artists who, despite the ideological constraints of the Soviet era, managed to preserve their individual visual language and create works of high artistic merit\u2014Sergo Kobuladze, Tamar Abakelia, Dimitri \u00a0Eristavi, Tengiz Mirzashvili, Merab Abramishvili, and others. The exhibition also features pieces by contemporary artists, reflecting urgent modern-day issues related to the theme of childhood.<\/p>\n<p>The exposition showcases paintings and graphic works from the collections of the Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Arts and the Dimitri Shevardnadze National Gallery of the Georgian National Museum, as well as the collection of ATINATI Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>Dedicated to International Children&#8217;s Day, this exhibition is organized on the initiative of the International Children&#8217;s Fund.
