But the Soviet censorship in Georgia at that time should not allow the sculptural depictions of Kings and Queens (kings statues were allowed only a bit later) so that version of the graduate work had not been approved. However the second\u00a0 proposal, depicting the outstanding Georgian ballet-dancer Vakhtang Chabukiani, and titled \u201cVakhtang Chabukiani- the Ballet Master\u201d was welcomed and \u00a0thereafter the full-length statue of Vakhtang Chabukiani was set in the foyer of the Tbilisi Opera and Ballet Theatre &#8211; the first recognition of the young sculptor.<\/p><p>Throughout the 1960s and 1980s, his works had been extensively exhibited in different shows in and outside of Georgia.<\/p><p>Jemal Japaridze\u2019s works are made in marble, wood and metal and encompass\u00a0 \u00a0monumental and park sculpture genres and portraiture.<\/p><p>Warrior Woman is the main motif and favorite image in Jemal Japaridze\u2019s art, materialized in the images of Queen Tamar, the Archers, Amazons and the mythological Medea, while the lyrical women imagery is depicted in the motifs of motherhood and family as well as in various portraits of the artist\u2019s contemporary women.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section
