An Honored Artist of Georgia, he graduated from the Tbilisi Academy of Art&#8217;s sculpture department in 1956. He is credited with introducing several new artistic and technical methods in Georgian metal engraving and creating a new way of framing his works.<\/p><p>He worked on both smaller and larger pieces, including a 26-meter-long, three-piece decorative panel titled Industry, Youth, Work for the 1967 Izmir World Exhibition.
