His concept of abstract forms reverts back to nature. Painting is the art of mental improvisation, which expresses the artist’s innate “informal” ability to interpret. Experiments with various materials combine the figurative and abstract elements created by the artist. Malkhaz Datukishvili’s works are preserved in the Shalva Amiranashvili Museum of Fine Art.
