The major aims of Creative Union are providing the development of Fine and Applied Arts, keeping and protecting Georgian National traditions, the popularization of Georgian Art in our country and abroad, protection of creative and social rights of the Artists, humanitarian activity.

The highest organ of the Union is the congress of the members of the Union (the municipality holds the congress once in 5 years). The Congress chooses the chairman, municipality and revisional committee for 5 years. Among congresses the activity of municipality is held by the chairman as the head of the Union, who has representative and executive functions. Regional and city organizations with the municipalities, both inside the country and abroad form the Union.
